Hill Research's Tom Chen to Present Med-ICE at MBSW 2026
Hill Research’s Tom (Zhiyuan) Chen will present at the 49th Annual Midwest Biopharmaceutical Statistics Workshop (MBSW), held May 27–29, 2026 at the Renaissance Hotel in Carmel (Indianapolis), Indiana. The 2026 workshop theme is “Shaping the Future of Medicine Through Data and AI.”
The Talk
Title: Med-ICE: Enhancing Factual Accuracy in Medical AI through Autonomous Multi-Agent Consensus
Session: Innovations in Clinical Trial Methodology — From Digital Health to AI-Enhanced Analysis Track: Clinical Organizer/Chair: Ran Liao, Eli Lilly Date & Time: Friday, May 29, 2026 · 8:30–11:30 AM Room: Carmel 3 & 4
Tom’s talk introduces Med-ICE, a multi-agent consensus framework that improves the factual accuracy of medical AI by having multiple LLM agents generate diverse reasoning chains, then iteratively refining outputs through semantic consensus — like a panel of specialists debating a diagnosis. The framework surfaces uncertainty rather than hiding it, making clinical AI more transparent and audit-ready.
