David Hall Joins Hill Research as Chief Revenue Officer

Hill Research has named David A. Hall Chief Revenue Officer and Wei Xiang an AI Software Engineer. Both roles build on groundwork laid by Vincent Wang, who has led AI innovation at Hill Research since May 2026.

David A. Hall, Chief Revenue Officer

Hall brings twenty-five years building and running commercial organizations across life sciences, healthcare technology, telecommunications, and financial services, with a career record of more than $600M in closed revenue, capital raised, and originated volume. He previously built $30M in new revenue in thirteen months at MCI WorldCom and ran the U.S. commercial operation at AKT Health across eighteen international markets.

Hall is not new to Hill Research. As strategic advisor, he built the company’s commercial organization from the ground up, implemented its CRM stack, and created the Clinical AI Mastermind series. He steps into a commercial function he already designed.

Wei Xiang, AI Software Engineer

Xiang spent three years at ByteDance building backend infrastructure for computer vision products and completed a master’s in AI from Northeastern University this month. Clinical data is a domain where correctness and traceability matter more than raw scale, and it draws on lessons from infrastructure work at scale.

Vincent Wang, Leading AI Innovation Since May

Wang has led AI innovation at Hill Research since May 2026. He was previously a visiting faculty researcher at Google DeepMind and Google Research, where he worked on MedGemma and Gemini Health Eval, and a postdoctoral associate at MIT CSAIL and the Broad Institute. At Hill Research, he is building on-premises and locally deployed models and agents for biomedical science.

Hall’s advisory work already runs through Hill Research’s public programming: he co-produced both sessions of the Clinical AI Mastermind series to date, including Session 2 at Johnson & Johnson in July 2026.
