About the Summit

The NFCR Global Summit brings together leaders from academia, industry, technology, government, investment, and patient advocacy to explore emerging frontiers in cancer research and innovation. This year’s program centers on the role of artificial intelligence in cancer research, early detection, and precision medicine. After welcome remarks from NFCR President and CEO Sujuan Ba, Ph.D., the morning features a keynote from Bruce Beutler, M.D., 2011 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, and a featured talk from Doug Lowy, M.D., Deputy Director of the National Cancer Institute.

About David

David brings three decades of experience across AI, healthcare, public service, and global innovation. Earlier in his career he served as a U.S. Army officer, a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan, and a Harvard Fellow in the congressional office of U.S. Representative Lee H. Hamilton, then chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Through the DPPC InnovaHub, David has trained more than 100 physician innovators across 13 countries, including teams advancing AI-guided cancer detection. He began his healthcare career at Indiana University Medical Center and Riley Hospital for Children and holds a master’s degree from Harvard University.

Why It Matters for Clinical AI

Cancer detection is where the promise of AI is most visible. Clinical development is where that promise has to hold up: every result traceable, every analysis reproducible, every output ready for regulatory review. That is the setting Hill Research builds TriClick for, and the perspective David brings to the panel.

If you will be at the Summit, David and Hill Research CEO Dr. Louise Liu will both be there. We would be glad to connect.
