Hill Research CTO Dr. Jack Li Speaks at AGI Summit SF 2026 Fireside Chat

Hill Research CTO Dr. Jack Li took the stage at “AI for Everyone: From AGI to Real-Life Transformation,” a private fireside chat and side event of AGI Summit SF 2026, hosted by Bay AI Circle at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on July 18, 2026.

The Conversation

The session took on the question most product roadmaps skip: as AI reshapes how we learn, work, and build, what must humans become in the age of AI?

Jack kept coming back to the same place, the gap between a frontier demo and a system people can actually depend on. That gap is the whole of his work.

Why It Matters for Clinical AI

Jack holds a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University and was previously a researcher at Microsoft Research. At Hill Research he leads the AI platforms behind our clinical-trial analytics, a setting where reliability is a regulatory requirement and every output has to be reproducible and audit-ready.

That is a useful counterweight in a room about AGI and real life. The hardest part of putting AI to work is rarely the demo. It is building something careful enough to support regulated, submission-oriented workflows.
