Hill Research at Boston Tech Week by a16z — Hosted by MedRock Ventures & J.P. Morgan Life Sciences
Hill Research CEO Dr. Louise Liu represented the company at the Boston Tech Week by a16z event hosted by MedRock Ventures, J.P. Morgan Life Sciences, Cushman & Wakefield, and Orbiss Inc.
The Framing
James Hamet, Co-Founder of MedRock Ventures, opened with a line that framed the room:
“The future of healthcare won’t be built by technology alone. It will be shaped by the organizations that can successfully connect innovation, clinical needs, commercial execution, and capital.”
That’s the right framing. Clinical AI without commercial pull doesn’t scale. Commercial execution without regulatory defensibility doesn’t survive an FDA inspection. The companies that connect all four hold the long-term position.
Showcasing TriClick

Hill Research showcased TriClick — the agentic AI platform for clinical trial biostatistics that compresses statistical programming and FDA submission workflows from months to minutes, with full audit traceability built in.
Fellow Founders
Hill Research was glad to showcase alongside two strong founders tackling adjacent problems at the AI + biotech intersection:
- Sadiqa Mahmood — Prudentia Sciences
- Alex Kotlar — Bystro
Worth following both.
Thanks
Thank you to MedRock Ventures and CEO Samy Merad for the invitation, and to the partners who made the event happen:
- J.P. Morgan Life Sciences — Garey House, P. John Chorzepa, Katherine Meeks
- Cushman & Wakefield — Joe Pearce, Julia Ryan
- Orbiss Inc. — Jenny Le Doridour, Emilie Ali, Matt Laperriere, Marie vB
Boston continues to prove why it sits at the center of life sciences innovation. We’ll see the MedRock team and the broader ecosystem at New York Tech Week on June 1.
